It’s definitely been a while. A lot has changed since I’ve been here last from the year, my hair color, and especially my skincare routine. I thought I would kind of go over how my night time routine has changed and how it’s made such a great difference to my skin.
I’ve mentioned here before that my skin is really sensitive. A perfect example is on our recent trip to Universal, two days into our trip I broke out in a rash everywhere because of who knows what; the hotel detergent? the dirty water in the park rides? Who knows…all I know is my skin is a bother. Especially my face.
I was using some great more natural products but I was looking for something new. Enter Liz Earle. I’ve heard of this company multiple times through the many, many youtubers that I binge watch and have always been interested in it. Unfortunately it wasn’t as easily accessible to me and came with a little higher price than something like Neutrogena. One day I decided to just take the plunge and test it out. It was the best decision I’ve made for my skin.
One thing I love about Liz Earle is how simple it is yet super effective. You start with just regular dry skin… (this day I didn’t have any makeup on… yikes to those eyebrows though)
It’s as easy as getting a dollup of the Cleanse and Polish cleanser, rubbing it all over your face and taking the linen cloth with some hot water and wiping it away. The Cleanse and Polish Has been a miracle worker. My skin felt smoother, cleaner, and softer the very first time I used it and I was so happy with it. I’ve tried it with a full face of makeup and it breaks down even the most stubborn mascara and melts everything off which was SO impressive.
All I do next is swipe on some the skin tonic. What I love about this tonic is how calming it is on the skin. My skin gets really red and irritated no matter what I use so this toner which such gorgeous ingredients like chamomile and aloe helps calm my skin down. It’s also almost cooling after such a hot wash with the cleanser.
I personally have the moisturizer for Oily skin because I have… well oily skin! 🙂 My skin tends to be very oily in the summer and less so in the winter, leaning towards the dry side near my nose and cheeks and still oily everywhere else. This moisturizer is SUPER hydrating and great on my skin because it doesn’t over moisturize my skin leaving it really greasy.
It’s easy as that! Keeping my skin care routine simple and keeping up with washing my face regular has made such a difference. My skins looked cleaner, fresher, and cleared up a lot since I’ve been using it. I couldn’t recommend better skin care products than these.
By the way this post is all my own opinion! I’m not getting anything for this post, I just have tried these products and wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t like them. So, if you’re ready to spend a little on some really great skin care products (and much more, they have makeup and candles) definitely check them out!
